Food Trucks on Fifth

Mix up your lunch routine with our rotating schedule of delectable food trucks on the 5th Avenue Terrace. Each day of the week brings a different cuisine and flavor to excite your taste buds.

Monday: Mexicue

Down-home barbeque meets spicy Mexican food at this New York City original.

The Mexicue menu gives you the power to combine the classics from both cuisines in a multitude of delivery methods. Choose your protein from the Mexicue Smokehouse, pick your style, and layer it to your liking with an assortment of traditional Mexican toppings and barbeque fixings. Menu selections include BBQ Brisket, pulled pork, black beans, tacos, sliders, salad bowls, pickled jalapenos, cotija cheese, guacamole, along with a variety of BBQ sauces.

Tuesday: Milk Truck

Forget the American cheese and Wonder Bread of your youth.

Milk Truck elevates the classic flavors with elegant combinations, taking Grilled Cheese to the gourmet level. Think Aged Wisconsin Gruyere and caramelized onions on Balthazar Levain Pullman Bread; the Milk Truck Classic. The truck also offers side salads, soups, mac & cheese, and milk shakes.

Wednesday: Nuchas

Empanadas are baked to order at Nuchas, where the inventive fillings take these Latin American stuffed pastries beyond tradition.

Made from the highest quality gourmet ingredients, Nuchas empanadas have an unparalleled fresh flavor. Choose from short rib, argentine beef, spicy chicken and jambalaya combinations, as well portobello, spicy cheese and shitake curry on the vegetarian side. The truck also serves an apple, cranberry and nutella empanada, as well as hot and cold beverages.

Thursday: Chinese Mirch

At the mobile outpost of the popular Chinese Mirch restaurant, you'll find a variety of dishes based around the Tibetan momo.

The traditional dumpling is stuffed with spinach, chicken, or keema (minced lamb), which you can order by themselves, over a rice bowl with Manchurian sauce, or in a hearty stew called a Thukpa. They also have bao sliders made with seasonal specialties like Roast Duck.

Order Ahead: Place your order from your office, so your food is hot and ready when you arrive.

Friday: Souvlaki GR

You'll find a little bit of Mykonos right in the heart of NYC when Souvlaki GR is parked on Fifth.

Classic Greek fare is served to go at the Souvlaki GR Truck. They're charcoal grilling chicken and pork, which is presented on a stick, in a warm pita or over salads. All are topped with fresh vegetables and tzatziki sauce. Don't forget to add a side of hand cut fries, sprinkled with feta, oregano, salt and pepper.
