Her signature warmth and compassion, paired with her commitment to fitness and wellness, make her a formidable guide and companion on the road to health and happiness.

Today's class is led by Julie Brazitis. Julie moved to New York City from San Francisco two years ago and instantly fell in love with Baptiste yoga after taking her first class. As a former gymnast and a full-time professional at Google, she found yoga as a way to cope with injury, transition and the demands of her career. In 2014, Julie took her practice to the next level and is thrilled to be a leader & lioness at The Den and is a 200-hour Baptiste Certified Teacher.

Today's class is led by Danielle Dugan. Danielle began practicing yoga regularly in 1999 and received her 200 hour certification in 2005 from Laughing Lotus while working full time in banking. Two years later, she began teaching yoga full time in New York and r eceived her prenatal yoga certification. After a short stint in Chicago, Danielle moved back to NYC with a 300 hour certification. She is interested in all forms of yoga as a way to heal the body and mind and leads a full life with her two children.

Today's class is led by Dan Nevins. Dan shares his story of service on and off of the battlefield, and the life lessons he has learned, as a bilateral below the knee amputee. His story of how meditation and yoga rescued him from darkness continues to be his leading source of inspiration to help lead fellow wounded warriors to their yoga mats. Dan feel strongly about the life changing power of yoga and devotes most of his  time to teaching yoga, leading “Take Off Your Legs” yoga workshops, teacher training weekends and master classes at every opportunity.

Today's class is led by Rodney and Colleen Saidman Yee. With more than 30 DVDs and several books to his name, Rodney co-chairs the Urban Zen Health and Wellness Foundation, founded by Donna Karan, with his wife Colleen. He is a former gymnast and ballet dancer, now based in New York, where he teaches regular classes at Colleen’s studio, Yoga Shanti, in the Flatiron District.

Model Colleen came to yoga in 1987 and later graduated from Jivamukti’s teacher-training program in 1998. She’s worked with Mother Theresa at the Home for the Dying in India, opened two Yoga Shanti studios in New York, and taught alongside Rodney. She helped create Urban Zen’s Integrative Yoga Therapist program and several DVDs. Her most recent book, Yoga for Life, A Journey To Inner Peace and Freedom sold over 30,000 copies.

Her audio meditation coursework, Cultivating Spiritual Intelligence, is renowned for its accessibility and relevance, and her yoga teaching is influenced by several traditions including Katonah Yoga, Kundalini and ParaYoga. Elena is also the founder of Teach.yoga, a global website for teachers, and her second book, Practice You, will be published in 2018 by Sounds True. Practices with Elena can befound on YogaGlo.com.

Today's class is led by Loretta Turner. Loretta found yoga in 2009 and was immediately drawn to the asana that was so closely tied to her roots in dancing. She eventually received her certificationin April 2011 and enjoys teaching an open-level vinyasa flow that is often described as fluid, but deceivingly challenging. Loretta is currently completing her 700-HR training to become a yoga therapist, and also teaches to a wide range of vulnerable populations including, cancer patients, at-risk youth, and addiction recovery through Kula for Karma.

Today's class is led by Danielle Diamond. Danielle, founder of Xen Strength Yoga, is a yoga and lifestyle expert, who has been inspiring others to get happy, strong and calm for over 15 years. Her passion is making all 8 limbs of yoga accessible on and off the mat, so your health and happiness are accessible and non-negotiable. Today's class is led by Christine Chen. A student and teacher of yoga for 15 years, yoga helped Christine recover from two spinal conditions and chronic stress, but it wasn’t until coming to Laughing Lotus that Christine felt pure glee bursting from her flow on the mat. Christine teaches from her practice: soulful, happy, and free movement that is informed by wellness and safety to celebrate one’s ever-expanding potential. Christine is a two-time Emmy winning broadcaster, author of bestseller Happy-Go-Yoga (Hachette/Grand Central Life & Style), and a health and wellness writer for Yoga Journal, Sonima, and Huffington Post.

Today's class is led by Sarah Platt-Finger, the co-founder of ISHTA Yoga and the private yoga teacher of Deepak Chopra. She teachers internationally with her husband, Yoga Master Alan Finger (teaching Bryant Park Yoga on September 6) and is on the Board of Directors for Exhale to Inhale, a non-profit organization that teaches yoga to survivsors of domestic violence.
