Ola!

Bryant Park speaks Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese with instruction by inlingua. Learn a new language in these standalone beginner classes. Classes are not cumulative, so you may attend any class throughout the season without needing to play catch up.

Registration is required, and opens one week before each class date. Please email inlinguainBryantPark@inlingua.com to reserve a spot. 20 student capacity per class. Attendance limited to one class for each language offered.

He has worked with an array of singers and received a gold record for his Rhythm Concept of Tony Orlando and Dawn's Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'Round the Old Oak Tree. Mr. Owens hosts an open mic every Friday evening, 7:30 to 10:30 at Pearl Studios, 519 8th Ave.

Bryant Park Tai Chi is provided by the Tai Chi Chuan Center and led by teachers and students who train at CK Chu Tai Chi under the direction of Jeremy Hubbell.

Classes are rain or shine.

 

Perfect your downward dog under the trees at our 12th season of outdoor yoga classes, presented by Athleta with instructors curated by Yoga Journal and media support from Flavorpill. Mats are provided by Athleta - no need to bring your own!

Elisabeth Halfpapp oversees exhale’s mind body programs, managing classes, workshops, teacher trainings, and retreats while teaching a robust class schedule and leading offsite escapes. Along with her husband, Fred, Elisabeth has created, choreographed, and starred in 11 Core Fusion DVDs and have contributed to many online classes on Yogavibes.com.

Join The Rise NYC, a community-driven pop-up fitness group, for a Boot Camp on the Fountain Terrace. Rotations through exercises like crunches, planks, push-ups, burpees, and mountain climbers ensure a mixture of cardio and strength training that will keep you coming back--and seeing results.

FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?
Tours will continue as scheduled in light rain, but will be cancelled in heavy rain or inclement weather.

How large are tour groups?
Tours are capped at 20 participants. Please contact tours@urbanmgt.com if you plan to attend with a group larger than six people.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

For Adults (16 years+)

Teaching Artist provides expert instruction in drawing, taking inspiration from the architecture, monuments, and people in Bryant Park. Learn basic drawing techniques including line, composition, shading, and depth.

Pencils, eraser, paper, and drawing board provided. Sessions are non-cumulative.

Lessons are capped at 15 participants, and registration is required.

First time participants:

On Wednesdays, we play the popular strategy game Settlers of Catan.

 

Add some competition to your regular table tennis game in our fun single-elimination, bracket-style tournaments.

Pre-registration is required. On-site registration will open at 6pm if space allows. Please check-in with host when you arrive for the tournament. We will begin promptly at 6:30pm. Registration will close, and spots will be turned over to wait-listed registrants, beginning at 6:20pm.

USATT ranked players with a rating of 2000 or higher are not eligible to play.

John Salisbury lives in Scottsdale where he has been practicing yoga since 1995 and teaching since 2000. He has a refreshing outlook between old-world tradition and new-world inspiration, deepening the student’s attention physically, inspiring with dynamic verbal cueing, while staying rooted to the breath and enjoying the experience as it
unfolds. John is a master Vinyasa teacher and teaches with undeniable technique, clear language, and warm laughter.

Learn the American version of this social, strategy game hailing from China at free clinics in the park.

Experts from the PGA offer courses to perfect your game at The Green. Learn putting techniques, get tips on how to play golf in the metropolitan area, and hear about additional introductory golf opportunities.

The first 10 minutes of each session consists of group instruction, followed by smaller group and individual instruction. Putters will be provided, but you may bring your own if you prefer.

Each clinic date will feature two 45-minute sessions: Session 1 starts at 6:30pm and Session 2 starts at 7:15pm. Pre-register for the session you'd like to attend, and arrive 10 minutes before your session start time to check in. Walk-in registration will begin at 6:30pm for Session 1 and 7:15pm at Session 2 if space allows.

The instruction provided is not sequential, so please register for only one session.
