Join The Rise NYC, a community-driven pop-up fitness group, for a Boot Camp on the Fountain Terrace, on the Sixth Avenue side of the park. Rotations through exercises like crunches, planks, push-ups, burpees, and mountain climbers ensure a mixture of cardio and strength training that will keep you coming back--and seeing results. 

No equipment necessary; smiles and high-fives encouraged. Rain or shine.

Join us for an enjoyable walking tour of Bryant Park, and discover how Bryant Park Corporation successfully transformed "Needle Park" of the 1970s into Manhattan's Town Square of today. Our guides are loaded with expertise on the park's rich history, award-winning design, distinct amenities, and ongoing maintenance efforts.

Registration is required. Click here to register with Eventbrite. Please arrive at the Fountain by 10:55am to check-in with the guide. Tour will depart promptly at 11am.

FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?
Tours will continue as scheduled in light rain, but will be cancelled in heavy rain or inclement weather.

How large are tour groups?
Tours are capped at 20 participants. Please contact tours@urbanmgt.com if you plan to attend with a group larger than six people.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No need!

The Reading Room invites student poets and poetry lovers to New York City's 15th Annual Poem in Your Pocket Day. This day long celebration of poetry kicks off the Reading Room's 2017 literary series and is free and open to the public.

Students from NYC's elementary, intermediate and high schools will have the opportunity to read their latest poems during the open mic forum. If you are 18 or under, and a student at a NYC school, you may register for our Poem In Your Pocket Open Mic.

No prior experience needed and equipment is provided.

Class spaces are first come, first served. To register, visit orvis.com/newyorkcity and click the blue and gold "Join Us" banner. Class meets at the Orvis store on Fifth Avenue across from Bryant Park, then walks over together

Kick off the 2017 season of Bryant Park Tai Chi with free instruction and a continuous demonstration of Tai Chi, under the direction of Master Hyland Harris, to celebrate this global holiday.

Celebrate International Tabletop Day by kicking off the Game Social season at Bryant Park! 

No pre-registration necessary - simply show up, have the Games Host put your name in the running, and put your skills to the test.
