It's a Midtown hoedown like no other!
Our beloved annual Square Dance returns to Bryant Park on September 23 and 24!
Friday, Sept 23: 6pm - 9pm
Saturday, Sept 24: 3pm - 9pm
DANCING & MUSIC
On Saturday, double up on your do-si-dos with TWO square dance sets featuring caller Dave Harvey of NYC Barn Dance and live bands. Sets begin around 3:30pm and 6:30pm, with live music in between. No experience? No partner? No problem! You're bound to make some new friends, and Dave will teach ya the steps.
Learn how to lasso with our pro instructors, and then test your skills by hopping on the Rodeo Roper!
Ham it up at our #bpsquaredance photo opps, or challenge your friends to a game of cornhole!
We've got western-themed giveaways by the wagonload. And, don't forget to enter the raffle for our grand prize - two round-trip airline tickets, courtesy of Southwest Airlines! Other daily prizes to be announced.
Hang your hat at the Southwest Airlines Lounge! Rest your feet and take in the scene from comfy Adirondack chairs.
From 3pm - 6pm on Saturday, the NW corner of the lawn becomes the Kids Corner with western-themed crafts and sack races. We'll also be giving out kid-sized cowboy hats (while supplies last) and our afternoon square dance set will be kid-friendly.
