Test your coordination and dexterity with free juggling lessons in the park. All skill levels are welcome to join in the fun. Equipment is provided.

 

Due to Hurricane Sandy, the Grand Opening Celebration is canceled. Please check the calendar for other upcoming events, including Wednesday's Halloween festivities, the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, and much more.


Kick off Citi Pond's eighth season of free admission ice skating at the Grand Opening Celebration, featuring live performances from world champion ice skaters and some of Broadway's biggest stars.

Plus free skate rentals for the first 100 visitors, starting at 6pm.


Please note that Citi Pond will be closed for public skating from 3pm - 7pm, during the Grand Opening Celebration. Skating will resume at 7pm.

Show off your best costume and celebrate the spookiest day of the year at Citi Pond's Wicked Wednesday:

Free skate rentals to the first 100 guests to arrive in costume.

Festive trick-or-treating throughout The Holiday Shops.

Skate to Halloween-themed music and across colored ice.

Specialty cocktails and menu items at Celsius.

Lessons are weather permitting. You'll be surprised that Alex and Jordan can often be found outside tossing pins in the snow!

 

Bryant Park will be open 1pm - 5pm on Thursday, November 1.

Due to Hurricane Sandy, the park is without power and Citi Pond, Celsius, The Holiday Shops, Le Carrousel, the Bryant Park Grill, and 'wichcraft sandwich and hot chocolate kiosks, and the Southwest Porch remain closed.

The public restrooms are open and hot beverages are available at the 'wichcraft coffee kiosk at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue.

Bryant Park will be open from 8am - 5pm on Friday, November 2.

Due to Hurricane Sandy, the park is without power and Citi Pond, Celsius, The Holiday Shops, Le Carrousel, the Bryant Park Grill, and 'wichcraft sandwich and hot chocolate kiosks, and the Southwest Porch remain closed.

The public restrooms are open and hot beverages are available at the 'wichcraft coffee kiosk at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue.

Bryant Park is now open.

Due to Hurricane Sandy, power has just returned to the park and crews are working diligently to restore ice to Citi Pond. Please check back here for updated information on a re-opening date.

Status of park amenities:

Electricity: Power has been restored to the park.

Citi Pond: Closed at this time. Now that the park has power, we can begin to make ice and prep for the public to return to NYC's only free admission skating rink.

General Park Areas: Open, including Bryant Park Bathroom, the ping pong area, and the 'wichcraft coffee and express kiosks at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue.

The Holidays Shops: Many have returned to regular store hours, and others are on their way in that direction. As of Friday, over 60 were open for shopping.

Celsius Rink-Side Restaurant: The bar will open Sunday afternoon. Dinner service begins Monday evening.

Bryant Park Grill, the Southwest Porch, 'wichcraft, and Le Carrousel: Individual amenities will have varied hours as they resume service. We will update you as soon as we have projected reopening estimates.
