Bryant Park is now open.
Due to Hurricane Sandy, power has just returned to the park and crews are working diligently to restore ice to Citi Pond. Please check back here for updated information on a re-opening date.
Status of park amenities:
Electricity: Power has been restored to the park.
Citi Pond: Closed at this time. Now that the park has power, we can begin to make ice and prep for the public to return to NYC's only free admission skating rink.
The Holidays Shops: Most shops are open, with regular hours.
Celsius Rink-Side Restaurant: Dinner service begins tonight, Monday, November 5.
Bryant Park Grill: Chef Gadi is back in the kitchen, and the restaurant reopened as of Saturday night, November 3.
Le Carrousel: Open for rides with regular hours, as of Sunday, November 4.
General Park Areas: Open, including Bryant Park Bathroom, the ping pong area, and the 'wichcraft coffee and express kiosks at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue.
The Southwest Porch, 'wichcraft hot chocolate and sandwich and soup kiosks: Individual amenities will have varied hours as they resume service. We will update you as soon as we have projected reopening estimates.

This event will celebrate the powerful voices of the NYC Youth Poet Ambassadors and their unique views on voting and civic engagement. This will also be the first performance of the 2013 NYC Youth Poet Laureate.
Words on Walls combines live performance and light projections on iconic NYC buildings to celebrate cultural diversity, neighborhood histories and the power of youth voice.
