May 14th - Happy Birthday Roy!

Come celebrate with Roy and all of his friends here at Bryant Park, at the opening performance of Piano in Bryant Park.

Roy Eaton has a most impressive career. His first Carnegie Hall performance was in 1937, and he won the first ever Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Award in 1950. His latest album I Play for Peace on RHAHM was released on 11/11/11. Other current albums include: Joplin Rags on Sony Classical; Keyboard Classics for Children on Summit; "24/7+7 The Complete Preludes of Chopin, Gershwin; Still on Summit; and The Meditative Chopin on RHAHM - all are available Here. Free Classes in the Park

Tai Chi and Eternal Spring are instructed by members of the Tai Chi Chuan Center for all ages and experience levels.

Classes are rain or shine.

Get an up-close visit with exotic birds from the Arcadia Bird Sanctuary and Education Center.

Sanctuary Director, Terri Jones, and her sociable, people-friendly birds can be found near Le Carrousel every Tuesday this summer, weather permitting.

Stop by to watch, ask questions, interact with the birds, or just take pictures.
