Talisman is a trio comprised of jazz & flamenco guitarist Diego Campo, trumpeter Omar Akil Little and bassist Aaron Wright. Based in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, Talisman plays a diverse repertoire that ranges from jazz standards to traditional percussive Spanish Bulerias; from Duke Ellington to Paco de Lucia. Talisman offer a warm, ambient, atmospheric sound which is at the same time passionate and powerful.

 

Join us at our all new weekly Game Socials to meet up with like-minded players interested in the same games as you.

Though kids games are available whenever we are open, the Kids Time Game Social lets the little ones enjoy games geared especially towards them. Teach them Candyland, Old Maid, Memory, or Operation every weekend.

Energize your day with a workout before work.

Join park neighbor Pilates on Fifth for an al fresco mat Pilates class. Studio owners Katherine and Kimberly Corp help you target the deep muscles of the abdomen to and spine to build a strong body from the inside out. The hour long class is paced for an energetic workout and open to all skill and age levels.

Some mats will be provided, but class participants are encouraged to bring their own.

Rain cancellation decisions will be made by 5pm on Sunday evening; please check our website and Twitter.

The Early Bird Game Social gives you a chance to start the day in the park, and warm up your mind with games that get you thinking like dominoes, Scrabble, cards or Boggle.

Bryant Park speaks Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, and Spanish with instruction by inlingua. Learn a new language in these standalone beginner classes. Classes are not cumulative, so you may attend any class throughout the season.

Registration is required, and opens one week before each class date. Please email inlinguainBryantPark@inlingua.com to reserve a spot. 20 student capacity per class. Attendance limited to one class for each language offered.

Tai Chi and Eternal Spring are instructed by members of the Tai Chi Chuan Center for all ages and experience levels.

Classes are rain or shine.

Pre-registration is required. On-site registration will open at 12pm if space allows. Please check-in with attendant at 12pm when you arrive for the tournament. We will begin promptly at 12:30pm. Registration will close, and spots will be turned over to wait-listed registrants, beginning at 12:20pm.
